The Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, General Headquarters, vehemently denounces the despicable ambush orchestrated by VBIGS on 19th September, 2025 at Nambol Sabal Leikai in the Bishnupur district of Manipur. This atrocious act resulted in the sacrifice of two valiant warriors of the 33 AR, Nb. Sub Shyam Gurung and Rfn Ranjit Singh Kashyap, while also leaving five other soldiers wounded.
We remain steadfastly united with the families of the martyrs and the injured, paying tribute to their heroism in defending our nation's integrity and upholding peace in the strife-torn state of Manipur. Their bravery and commitment ignite a flame of inspiration within us all.
In these trying moments, we urge the community to stand with us in a Solidarity March from Lamka Public Ground, Hiangtam Lamka to Peace Ground, Tuibuang today, 20th September, 2025 at 5:30 PM, followed by a Candlelight Vigil to honor the courageous souls who gave their all for the security and unity of our beloved land.
Let us unite to celebrate their legacy and reaffirm our dedication to peace and harmony.
