The Thanksgiving–cum–Felicitation Programme organized by the Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, General Headquarters (ZSP–GHQ), was successfully held on 7th April, 2026 at Tangpijol Village. The programme was conducted with solemnity, dignity, and great enthusiasm to honor and felicitate distinguished achievers from the Zou community for their remarkable accomplishments in prestigious national services and competitive examinations.
The programme commenced at 11:00 AM with the Opening Prayer led by Rev. Khamminlian, ZPCS, invoking God’s blessings upon the gathering, the organizers, and the honorees. The event was jointly compered by Mr. Joel G. Taithul, Organizing Secretary, ZSP–GHQ, and Ms. Prena Manlun, Finance Secretary, ZSP–Lamka Block, while the overall coordination of the programme was efficiently managed by Mr. T. Lamkholian, Assistant Secretary, ZSP–GHQ.
Following the opening session, the gathering was enriched by the keynote address delivered by Pu Thanglunlal Zou, Vice President (Administration), ZSP–GHQ. In his inspiring speech, he emphasized the significance of dedication, perseverance, discipline, and education in uplifting society and encouraged the younger generation to strive relentlessly for excellence and meaningful service to the community.
The Felicitation of Honorees was conducted by Pu M. Hauminthang Zou, Advisor, ZSP–GHQ. At the outset, brief introductions of all the achievers were presented before the felicitation ceremony commenced. During this solemn occasion, the achievers were formally honored and recognized for bringing pride and honor to the Zou community through their outstanding achievements in national competitive examinations and public services.
As a mark of deep respect and appreciation, the Office Bearers of ZSP–GHQ under the leadership of Pu Khamsuanpao, President, along with Pu Thanglunlal Zou, Vice President (Administration), Pu P. Nicky Mangminlian @ P. Nick Lian Zou, Vice President (External), and Pu Solomon Manglianmung, General Secretary, presented Zou Traditional Shawls, mementos, flower bouquets, and Mithun shoulders to all the honorees.
The programme also gratefully acknowledged the generous sponsors who contributed animals for the grand feast and felicitation ceremony. Their valuable contributions were as follows:
Thereafter, a special Blessing Prayer was offered by Rev. Dr. Ginkhanmung Zou, DS Singngat, MELC, praying for wisdom, strength, protection, and continued success upon all the honorees and participants.
The programme witnessed inspiring speeches and messages from the distinguished achievers and their representatives:
In their addresses, they shared inspiring experiences, struggles, sacrifices, and journeys toward success. They encouraged students and youths to remain focused, disciplined, hardworking, and determined in pursuing their aspirations despite challenges and hardships.

Each speaker highly appreciated the achievements of the honorees and commended the commendable initiative undertaken by ZSP–GHQ in organizing such a meaningful, motivational, and community-oriented programme.
An open session for Speech and Presentation was also conducted, during which participants and attendees were given the opportunity to share brief remarks, greetings, and words of encouragement.
During the programme, Pu Solomon Manglianmung, General Secretary, ZSP–GHQ, presented Zou Mufflers to donors and well-wishers who generously contributed financially and materially toward the successful conduct of the programme. The donors honored were:
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Pu P. Nick Lian Zou, Vice President (External), ZSP–GHQ. In his address, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, church leaders, guests, organizers, invited artistes, participants, donors, ZYO Singngat Block, 37 AR, Villagers, Media Partners RB Media & Co. , Ushers and all supporters for their valuable presence, cooperation, and contributions toward the grand success of the programme.
The programme concluded with the Closing Prayer led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Haomuonlian, St. Thomas Parish Singngat, followed by a grand feast and fellowship among all attendees.
The occasion was further enlivened by special musical presentations from invited artistes Ms. Chiindeiniang, Ms. Zounu, and B. Henry Kakap, whose performances added joy and entertainment to the gathering.
Overall, the Thanksgiving–cum–Felicitation Programme was conducted successfully and meaningfully, leaving behind a strong message of inspiration, unity, gratitude, and encouragement for the entire Zou community. The programme not only celebrated achievements but also motivated the younger generation to aspire toward excellence and dedicated service to society.
